Modern Country
Living Reimagined
– Developing, designing and building high quality, eco-friendly, custom and semi production spec homes
DEVELOP
At Bayshore Group, we are focused on developing a diverse range of housing from seasonal dwellings on waterfront lots to single family detached dwellings in cottage country.
We develop communities that enhance our areas sense of community, promote active lifestyles and blend into the surrounding environment.
Every project we develop is an opportunity to showcase and celebrate our unique communities and natural environment.
DESIGN
We are inspired by our surroundings and use this as our guiding principals when designing our homes.
Our aim is to create buildings that blend with the natural environment and enhance our clients connection to it.
Wood, stone and glass are used in generous proportions with muted colour palettes that mimic and live harmoneously with the surrounding environment.
BUILD
We’ve assembled a team of highly-trained, local professionals, each one an expert in one or more facets of the home building process. We aim to build local, hire local, and source local products.
From our professional designer, to our construction superintendent, to our customer care – our team takes pride in their work and the delivery of a quality home.
“We can never have enough of Nature.”
Efficiency
Energy efficient building design involves constructing or upgrading buildings that are able to get the most work out of the energy that is supplied to them by taking steps to reduce energy loss such as decreasing the loss of heat through the building envelope. Energy efficient homes, whether they are renovated to be more efficient or a built with energy efficiency in mind, pose a significant number of benefits. Energy efficient homes are less expensive to operate, more comfortable to live in, and more environmentally friendly.
Looking to the future of North Kawartha

Attainable housing in North Kawartha is a current challenge as well as a challenge for the future. From affordable homes to purchase to rental inventory, finding a place to call home has never been more difficult.
The Bayshore Group is looking to help alliviate this strain by proposing a plan of subdivision in the Village of Apsley.
Efficient, attractive designs that blend into the environment as well as a commitment to keep the building costs low will help to create a place local residents can attain.
As part of the planning process, the Bayshore Group is investigating various options to add additional rental suites/homes to each lot to allow for multigenerational living and rental income opportunities. More single family homes, more rental properties. A win/win proposition.

Homes designed to blend with the environment
Before we break ground, we always consider the existing landscape first in order to place our homes in the best lot location. This allows us to design a home that flows with the landscape instead of forcing a design to simply exist in a location with no concern for its surroundings. Enhancing views from within the home is a key factor in our designs. In order to achieve this, we must work to preserve as much of the natural exterior environment as possible.
